The Vision:
Ain Shams
University
seeks to accomplish excellence in the field of university education and
scientific research on national, regional, and
international levels through committing to total
quality for its faculties and departments and
research centers. All this is in an environment

has independence, freedom, democracy and
strong collaboration between the university and
other universities, organizations and local Arab
and foreign institutes. This is done within a
framework of cultural, social and behavioral
principles that rule the community, which helps
in
achieving sustainable development
economically, socially and humanly.
The Mission:
- In light of the University’s vision, its mission is represented in
merging the idea of total
quality and continuous
improvement in the educational organization, as
well as, the
academic research in the following

- Incorporating the role of the university towards
enriching the theoretical and
practical
knowledge according to ethical, social and
cultural standards of the
community.
- Providing students with the basics of modern
knowledge and advanced research
methods as well
as refined values
- Developing the student’s personality that would
make him/her capable of
innovation, facing
challenges, leadership, self-learning, team
working and
competitiveness
- Reviewing and developing the academic programs
in accordance with the national,
regional and
international standards.

the community in large , to meet their
