The paper introduces a screen estimating calculator for the instructor actual load (hours) in the Information Technology colleges and departments. The loads of the two main instructor activities (teaching and service) are considered. The introduced calculator is as other special screen estimating calculators can be used to help in evaluation an approximate estimate of resources; here the instructor time. The development of the instructor load calculator can be classified as a simple software project. The values of the estimating calculators rise from the parametric values that express the knowledge base of the previous experiences. For this reason the proposed calculator here describe an initial attempt from grouping the parameters of the instructor loads and assign values to these parameters. The paper summarizes the analysis, design, and implementation of the instructor load calculator using the capabilities of visual programming a database management system.
